My grandmother is doing amazingly well at age 91, (and she looks GREAT!!!), despite having macular degeneration and not being able to see what's in front of her. She has some peripheral vision, which helps her to get around inside the building at the retirement community where she lives. Aside from her vision problems, she is doing great physically, and mentally she's still as sharp as a tack!
