We left from Mi Escuelita and walked across its parking lot to the city bus stop, where we all rode together up to Franklin Street! Once there, we enjoyed an ice cream treat at Ben & Jerry's, a tour of the local Fire Station, and a yummy lunch at Subway. The kids had a great time!
Waiting at the bus stop....

The kids loved the bus ride as much as anything we did on the whole field trip!

Yummy scoop of ice cream with rainbow sprinkles at Ben & Jerry's

Group photo with the employee who led our group -- he let all the kids color a picture, stand in the 20-below-zero freezer room, help make a waffle cone, eat a scoop of ice cream (grown-ups too!), and they even played Pin The Strawberry on the Ice Cream Sundae! I'm guessing that Ben & Jerry's does birthday parties.....
