Halloween

We had a great Halloween this year -- Rachel was a "princess ghost", Caroline was a pink & black witch, and Sarah was a pumpkin. I decided to dress up too this year, and got myself a witch costume as well! Brian wore scrubs & a witch's hat and was a "witch doctor". Fun was had by all!

Boat Ride to Morehead City

On Sunday, we took the fishing boat to Morehead City to get gas -- it was a fun ride across the sound & under the "big bridge" that cars use between Morehead City and Atlantic Beach.

Kite Festival at Atlantic Beach

Last weekend we had a fabulous time at a kite festival at Atlantic Beach -- there were kites of all sizes & shapes, and the weather was perfect -- especially for October!

There was a kids' table where Rachel, Caroline, & Neils each made & decorated a simple kite. They had a great time flying them!

Caroline's Tumble Gym Class

This fall, Caroline has been taking a toddler class at The Tumble Gym, and she loves it! She looks forward to it all week long. The class includes 4 or 5 little 3-year-olds, and they are adorable to watch as they jump, somersault, swing, and tumble all around! Here are some pictures from last week's class.

Rachel's Field Trip to Ganyard Hill Farm

On Wednesday, Rachel's entire kindergarten from her school (along with classes from several other schools) went to Ganyard Hill Farm, where they got to pick pumpkins from a pumpkin patch, ride on a hay ride, see some animals, eat a picnic lunch, and play all around. We all had a great time.

Each chaperone was assigned to two kids, so I went around with Rachel & Luca.

Sarah's First Birthday

It's hard to believe that Sarah turned ONE on Saturday. For me, it was bittersweet, since turning 1 means she won't be my tiny little baby for much longer! For Sarah, unfortunately, it was not as fun as it might have been -- she had a fever and was pretty grumpy most of the day. Thankfully, the rest of us had fun at HER party!
