Fun Weekend with Mark, Miriam, & Neils

We had a great time in Pine Knoll Shores with Mark, Miriam, & Neils over the weekend. We celebrated Mark's birthday, enjoyed some time on the boat, and ate some fabulous food! Here are some pictures...

Once we anchored near a sandbar, Sarah had a fabulous time playing in the sand (and eating as much of it as possible!) --
Here, she starts out nice & clean....
... then she begins digging...
... and eating ...
... and, well, why not lie down and lick the sand, too? ...
... Now that's just the way it should be, huh?!!!

Neils, however, didn't like her being so covered! So he kept bringing his bucket full of water, trying to wash off the sand!
Next, it was time to explore the water!
Sarah was fearless - she loved crawling around & getting wet!
